The Explosion-Proof FID Detector consists of an explosion-proof cavity, mounting base of flame arrester element, signal transmission line, control wire of temperature transmission and ignition heating wires, etc. When the organic gas is fed into the FID detector, the chemical bonds of the organic gas are opened under the action of high temperature ionization, releasing free ions and electrons. The released electrons move toward the electrode at one end of the high-voltage electric field, and thus are collected by the electrode to produce a measurement current. The magnitude of this measured current is related to the mass of organic gas entering the detector per unit time, and the total amount of signal collected during the injection time reflects the content of the organic gas.
Features
Explosion-proof design: the whole FID adopts explosion-proof design to meet the requirements for use in explosive hazardous gas places.
High integration: the FID detector and detector plate are integrated in the explosion-proof cavity, which is easy to disassemble and maintain
High linearity range: the linear range reaches 50,000ppm of methane, which meets most of usage scenarios.
