The 2000A UV-Visible Spectrophotometer is a laboratory instrument that generates ultraviolet and visible electromagnetic radiation with high stability, monochromaticity, and collimation. The incident light is split into two beams—one passes through a reference cell (blank), and the other through the sample cell. By comparing the intensity of light before and after passing through the sample at various wavelengths, the instrument determines the sample’s absorbance or transmittance. The detector receives the transmitted signals and converts them into electrical signals for analysis.
