The 8300 is a newly developed instrument that utilizes computer-controlled microcoulometric titration for the determination of salt content in crude oil and its derivatives. It complies with the Chinese standard SY/T0536-2008 (Determination of Salt Content in Crude Oil—Coulometric Method). The analyzer is also suitable for measuring salt levels in heavy oil, residual oil, industrial wastewater, and domestic sewage, as well as for detecting inorganic chloride ions in these samples. It is an ideal tool for monitoring salt content in electrostatic desalting processes.
Features
Suitable for both high-concentration and trace chloride ion detection
Computer-controlled operation with full-process status display, parameter monitoring, and result printing
High sensitivity: Detects salt and chloride concentrations as low as 0.2 mg/L
Stable performance with precision better than ±3%, fast and easy operation
Innovative titration cell design: Special ceramic frit replaces traditional ion membranes, preventing data drift caused by membrane damage
Uses imported components for enhanced reliability and simplified installation
Microcomputer interface streamlines operation and improves user experience
Applications
This instrument is suitable for determining salt content and inorganic chloride ions in the following sample types:
Crude Oil
Heavy Oil
Residual Oil
Industrial Water
Discharged Wastewater
